HOW DID THIS MINISTRY BEGIN?

In 2022, Traci Bishop walked into the Woodman Unit and started facilitating a bible study with another ministry. A chaplain from that unit asked her if she knew a recovery program, and Re:Gen is all she knew. She then started making the phone calls to Watermark to get the curriculum. For the first year we facilitated the Re:Gen Pilot program under another ministry and God called us to branch off so we could focus on bringing Re:gen to the unit and others units. We are thankful for the core team who helped build the foundation of what it has become behind the four walls. We are so thankful for Traci Bishop, Christy Strain, Ashley McIntosh, and Gloria Click who consistently for the first year poured into the ladies.
GOD HAS SOMETHING BIGGER!

After our first Re:Generation graduation in 2024, God placed a new calling on our hearts: to reach teens before their struggles lead them toward incarceration. We felt compelled to bring the same message of hope, healing, and identity in Christ beyond the prison walls and into the lives of young people in our communities. Our desire is to walk alongside them, help them navigate life’s challenges, and remind them that their lives have purpose.
That calling led us to expand into both a prison ministry and a teen ministry. Today, we serve women behind prison walls while also investing in the next generation. Through both ministries, our heart remains the same: to help people know they are more than their circumstances, their mistakes, or a number. They are deeply loved by God, and through Christ, healing, restoration, and a new direction are possible.
