PRISON MINISTRY

We were so blessed to be part of Convicted Ministries to start our journey with Prison Ministry. We have been blessed with starting Regeneration Recovery Program at the beginning of 2023. We have been able to facilitate Groundwork with over 250 ladies in the past eight months. We have our first Regeneration Group graduating this May! This is the first time Regeneration has hit a TDC unit in full action. We are super blessed to plant the seeds.

RE-ENTRY

We help ladies who are being released get a plan going before they even leave.  We make sure they are set up with a healthy support system that will help them stay accountable, encourage them, and be able to mentor them through the navigation of re-entry.

Also, we help them apply for transition homes that have structure and are full of resources that help them with everyday living. These transition homes are a valuable stepping stone for their recovery and for them to make a defined difference in their life.

CLOSET FOR RE-ENTRY

When the ladies get ready to leave a unit we want them to feel confident as they take their next step. We provide clothing drives to supply clothes for release. We are so fortunate and blessed that Hood County residents are able to make this happen.

I prayed for pair of gym shoes at release. God blessed me with a new pair of shoes at the closet.

JAIL MINISTRY

We also go into the county jails to pray for incarcerated individuals and to mentor them.

Our heart is to go into Hood, Erath, and Johnson Country jails to do ministry. There are many individuals who need prayer and for someone to listen and give hope.
